HARRY POTTER AND THE SHIP OF DREAMS
Chapter Three

The next morning, Harry did as he always did, waking up early while Fleur was still asleep, taking a bath, shaving, combing his hair, getting dressed, and sitting in the sitting room and reading the paper.

Harry was intrigued by the front page title. Europe and America’s Finest Set To Board Titanic.

Harry read about some of the first class passengers coming aboard--Harry and Fleur Potter, Draco and Ginny Malfoy, Ronald and Hermione Weasley, and Luna Brown.

"What? Ron never told me he was sailing on the Titanic! Bleeding Christ!" Harry exclaimed, pouring himself a brandy.

Fleur had just finished her bath and begun to put her clothes on when she heard Harry yell. She finished up and left the bathroom.

"Good morning, Mr. Potter," Fleur teased.

Harry turned around. "The same to you, Mrs. Potter."

"Well, you were up early. You’re all packed," Fleur said.

"Yeah, but you had a better start than I did last night," Harry said.

"Fleur, come on! Let’s get going!" Harry yelled, adjusting his top hat.

"Yes. Almost--I’m just putting my earrings in…all right, I’m ready!" Fleur said, stepping out of the bathroom.

"You look beautiful!" Harry complimented her.

Fleur blushed. "Thank you. You look very dashing."

"Thanks. Do you have everything?" Harry asked impatiently.

"Yes, I think so. Let’s go," Fleur said, and in a pop, they were gone.

They arrived in a large warehouse with a sign that read White Star Line First Class Ticket Office.

They were greeted by a sailor in a blue uniform with gold stripes. "Please allow me to take those for you," he said kindly.

"Thank you. Do we check in at the desk?" Harry asked.

"Yes, sir," he replied.

"Thank you," Harry said, and he and Fleur walked up to the desk.

"Hello. Can I get your name and tickets?" the man asked kindly.

"Reservations for Mr. and Mrs. Harry Potter," Harry said, handing him the tickets.

"Ah…yes," he said, signing the tickets. "You’ll be staying in the parlor suite, B52, sir."

"Thank you, and our luggage?" Harry asked.

"They have already taken the luggage you want with you to your stateroom. The rest is stowed away in the cargo hold," the man replied.

"Where do we board?" Harry asked, taking the signed tickets back.

"Oh. Sorry. Right out the door in front. You will board on ramp number two. Enjoy your stay on the Titanic," the man said cheerfully.

Hand in hand, Harry and Fleur exited the door to see a sight that would never leave them for the rest of their lives.

"Bloody hell! Look how big it is!" Harry exclaimed in awe.

Fleur, on the other hand, was speechless, but finally managed to say, "It’s huge…"

They walked hand-in-hand to boarding ramp two.

They walked up the gangplank to be greeted by an officer. "May I see your tickets?"

"Sure," Harry said, handing him the tickets.

"Well," the officer said, handing Harry back his tickets, "welcome to Titanic."
