MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU
Chapter Thirteen
"Teddy," Hannah said, trying to
start a lively conversation.
"Yes?" Teddy responded.
"Are you nervous?" Hannah asked.
"About the wedding?" Teddy asked.
Hannah nodded her head. "A little, but I know that it's only cold feet.
Jack even told me that it is normal for people to be nervous before big events
like this. Everything is going to go perfect," Teddy said, cuddling
against Hannah.
Hannah looked up at Teddy and asked,
"Promise?"
Teddy chuckled, and said,
"Promise." Hannah smiled and laid her chest against Teddy's.
"Hannah," Teddy said.
"Yes, Teddy?" Hannah asked.
"Want to play a game of cards?"
Teddy asked.
Hannah smiled, and said, "All
right." Teddy started to shuffle the cards, and gave five to Hannah, five
to him. "This is helping, you know. It is so exciting that we are getting
married tomorrow," Hannah said.
"It is, very. I really don't understand
why people get so nervous about this stuff," Teddy said.
"Exactly...got any threes?" Hannah
asked.
"Go fish," Teddy said.

"They are both asleep," Jack said
to Rose in a whisper.
"Oh, that is wonderful to hear,"
Rose said, letting out a sigh.
"Well, we better get some sleep. Teddy
and Hannah's wedding is in the morning, and we certainly don't want to miss
that," Jack said.
"We certainly don't," Rose said,
and the couple started to ascend upstairs.
Jack closed the door softly behind him, and
Rose placed her nightgown on.
"Jack?" Rose asked, she lay across
Jack's chest.
"Hmm?" Jack asked.
"Do you remember the night before our
wedding?" Rose asked.
"How could I forget?" Jack asked,
smiling.
"Were you nervous?" Rose asked.
"Yep," Jack said.
"I was, too. Do you think that Teddy and
Hannah are like that?" Rose asked.
"I know that Teddy is, and I'm sure that
Hannah is," Jack said.
"Watch, tomorrow both of them will look
so happy and brushed off from their cold feet," Rose said, and yawned.
"Oh, I think that we need to get some
sleep," Jack said, and stroked her hair.
"I suppose you're right. Good night. I
love you," Rose said.
"Love you, too," Jack said, and
kissed Rose.

Rachel and Kevin were sitting in the
Hatchets' field. "Wow, aren't they beautiful?" Rachel said.
"Hmm, what?" Kevin asked.
"The stars. Look at them. Aren't they
magnificent? They are so beautiful; whenever I feel that no one is looking out
for me up above, I look at the stars and the moon," Rachel said.
"I look at you," Kevin said.
Rachel blushed, and looked at the lake. She
could see the moon's reflection. "It's a full moon," Rachel said.
Kevin took his hand and held it against
Rachel's chin. "I love you," Kevin said.
Rachel smiled, and closed her eyes. She then
felt Kevin's lips press against hers.
"Good evening!" Donald yelled, and
Jessica held his hand. Rachel and Kevin smiled, and Kevin waved. "What are
you doing here in the Hatchets' field?" Donald asked.
"Well, we were just--" Rachel
began.
"Everyone in this town knows that the
Hatchets' field is the most romantic place to be," Donald said.
"Especially during spring," Jessica
said, agreeing. Rachel blushed more, and so did Kevin.
"Well, why are you two here?"
Rachel asked.
"Well, we were just looking at the
stars," Donald said.
"They said that you can see Orion,"
Jessica said.
"Likely story," Kevin said.
"I know," Donald said, and they
chuckled together.
"Are you two planning on going to the
wedding together?" Jessica asked.
"Well, I was hoping we were," Kevin
said.
Rachel nodded her head, and said, "Of
course."
"How about you two?" Kevin asked,
trying to hide his happiness.
"We wouldn't miss it for anything in the
world," Donald said.
"Well, I suppose that we might as well
go home," Rachel said.
"Yeah, I really should get some
sleep," Kevin said, and the two stood up.
"All right. Well, if you have to,"
Donald said.
Rachel rolled her eyes and sighed. "Come
on, Kevin. Let's go."
Donald waved. "Bye."
Jessica giggled, and said, "You really
should stop picking on them."
"I know, but it's so fun," Donald
said.
