Chapter Sixteen
Today was the fourteenth of April. Easter
Sunday. Rose woke up and looked at the window. It was such a beautiful day
today.
"Morning, Rosie," Jack said, and
kissed her shoulder.
"It's our day," Rose said in a
whisper. Rose turned around like she did once when Jack and Rose were flying,
and kissed Jack. "Guess what," Rose said.
"What?" Jack asked.
"I have a surprise for you," Rose
said.
"What?" Jack asked.
"Come here and I'll show you," Rose
said in a giggle.
Jack went down the stairs, and Rose opened
the front door. In front of Jack was a car with a man in the front and the
children in the back.
"Wow," Jack said in a whisper.
"Come on," Rose said and tugged
Jack into the car.
The car engine started and Jack and Rose had
a huge smile on their faces.
There was a scream and Jack yelled,
"Look out!"
