Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

I only half listened to what my mother said. It was something about the bridesmaids' dresses. But who minds what she says? I only wanted one thing during this horrible wedding to be created by me. I like lavender.

Suddenly, I noticed a mother and her little daughter across the room. The mother was telling the girl to sit up. I saw that the child was quite comfortable, like I had always been in these situations. Then, she carefully took her napkin and placed it in her lap.

I looked into my cup. Some tea was left. Slowly, I turned it around, spilling some tea on my dress. Only a little. I liked this dress and didn't want to ruin it.

"Oh, look what I've done," I said, interrupting my mother's conversation. "If you’ll excuse me, I have to change." I got up. My mother looked at me. I think she knew it hadn't been an accident.

Slowly, I crossed the room and went out onto the deck. I had never planned to go to my cabin. I was going to see him. This was where I should have been all the time. With him.

There was only one problem. I didn't know where he was. But it didn't take me long to figure out that I should go down to the third class section and search for him there.

So, I turned around and went back into the ship. Down the grand staircase, where I had met him the day before. Soon, I stood in front of a locked gate. No one was around. Damn it! I looked around. Luckily, a few minutes later, a steward came by. I told him to open the gate. At first, he thought I was making fun of him.

"No one from first class should go down there. These steerage people are the worst of all, I tell you."

But I insisted that he had to open the gate because I was first class, and finally he let me pass.

I headed straight to the general room. Thankfully, I remembered the way from last night. A few people on the way smiled at me or greeted me in a friendly way. They had all been at the party.

When I entered the general room, I immediately noticed that Jack wasn't there. His friends--I had already met them before--were sitting in a corner. They didn't see me until I was standing by them.

I didn't waste any time on being formal. "Where's Jack?" was the first thing I said. They smiled at me.

"I think he might be up at the bow. He likes it there," Fabrizio finally replied.

"Thanks," I just said, and was on my way out. After a minute or so, I was almost running. Finally, I was outside again, and headed straight towards the bow.

And there I saw him. A lonely figure, bent over the railing, looking at the water below. At this moment, I saw the beautiful sunset for the first time. The sky above was dark, but the horizon was like pure gold. And we were heading towards it.

I walked up to Jack. He didn't see or hear me. For a few moments, I just stood there and looked at him, thinking of what to say. Then...

"Hello, Jack," was the only thing that came to my mind. He turned around, looking at me, a little confused. He hadn't expected me.

"I changed my mind."

His smile brightened my whole world.

The End.
