JACK AND ROSE: TOGETHER FOREVER
Chapter Two

"Rose, Rose, get up we have to be at the church in about 3 hr. Get up!" Brittany Miller shouted to her friend the next morning. Rose sprang out of bed almost jumped right on Brittany who was standing bye Rose's bed. Brittany quickly jumped out of the way, and watched Rose run out of the room into the kitchen. Brittany followed he out the door. When she got to the kitchen, she saw Rose already wolfing down a bunch of hot pancakes she had made for her that morning.

"Rose, slow down, this is breakfast, not a race." Brittany cautioned her friend. Rose looked up not realizing she was in the room.

"Yes mother." Rose answered Brittany sarcastically, but she slowed down realizing that it was true. "I am just so excited! I can't believe Jack and I will finally be married." Rose told Brittany. "I am so glad you and Dianna are going to be my bridesmaids."

"Oh, I am very happy you actually picked me. I mean we have only know each other for a few weeks and you pick me to be a bridesmaid. Rose I am flattered." Rose blushed as she got up and put her dishes in the sink.

"Britt, why wouldn't I. You are like the only girlfriend I have ever had. You and Bryan's wife Dianna. But I am still very happy. Now, its 9:20 and we have a 20-minute walk ahead of us carrying a very fragile dress, I say we start out now if we are going to make it to the church by 10:00. Because once we get there we are going to still have to fix my hair, and get my dress and makeup on." Rose told Brittany. Brittany nodded and went to get Rose's dress and hair things, and also some clothes to wear when Rose and Jack when out to dinner. When she got back she saw Rose standing there fully dressed, read to go. She walked over to Brittany and took some of the stuff and than the two of them left for the church.

Bring! Jack sat up suddenly as the alarm clock went off. He looked at the clock, it was about 8:00. He needed to get to the church by 10:30 to make sure that everything was in order. He sprang out bed and ran to take a shower. When he was done, he went and ate breakfast. When Jack was finally finished doing all of this, he did two last things. First he ran and got he tux, and last he ran and got Roses' present out of its hiding place in his dresser. Taking one last look around the bedroom, he left to go start his new life with Rose.

Rose and Brittany got to the Church about 10:15, a little behind schedule, but close. They were shown to there room, and also found Dianna waiting there for them. Dianna greeted them with a big hello and there were hugs all around.

"Well Rose, today is the bug day! Are you ready?" Dianna asked her after things had clamed down in the room.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Rose said confidently, even though she was a little nervous.

"Well, Rose, I think we better get you ready so we can have you walking down that isle on time." Brittany said as she and Dianna started to get Rose's dress out of the case. Rose loved the dress. It was a simple white dress; much like the one she wore the night Titanic had sank. She also had a bouquet of wine red roses to carry. Rose took the dress in her hands and put it on. Dianna and Brittany helped her zip the dress up, and than Dianna took the vale out of its box and set it on Rose's head. Next they put Rose's makeup on. Finally after a hour of fussing with her dress, hair, and makeup, Rose was ready to go met Jack at the altar.

Jack quickly made his way up the church stairs. He was really excited to finally be married to Rose. As he made his way to his dressing room, he thought of the past month. First there was winning the ticket to get on Titanic, meeting Rose, and than winning over her heart. Than there was the iceberg, him getting arrested, Rose rescuing him, the ships final minutes, the promise, and him just barely alive to here Rose call him when a boat finally did come. And than the week after the ship had sank, he proposed to Rose. They had been living in an apartment in upper New York, but tomorrow they were going to California. To Santa Monica to be exact. Jack and Rose were going to live there. As he opened the door to the dressing room, he saw Bryan sitting on the bench, and his tux hanging up in the corner. "Well, well, well Jack, you finally decided to show up did you." Bryan asked him as soon as he was in the room. Jack rolled his eyes. Bryan know how he had been worried about Rose, or himself, getting cold feet over the past few days. And he was constantly teasing him about it. But this is why Jack thought Bryan was such a good friend. He was always joking, and fooling around. The Foster's lived in the apartment bellow Jack and Rose, so they had just happened to met one day. They two couples had become friends instantly and were always together. Rose and Dianna were inseparable, and than Dianna had introduced Rose to her friend Brittany Miller and the three women had instantly become really close friends. Wherever Dianna and Brittany went, Rose went to. Jack thought that this was great that Rose finally got some close friends. Girl friends that is.

"OK Bryan, let's get this wedding under way." Jack told him. Bryan took Jack's tux down from its hanging place on the wall. The two men joked about wedding nights while they got Jack dressed. When they were done Jack looked at the clock; it was 11:15. He had 15 minutes until Rose would come down the isle. "Well Bryan, wish me luck." Jack told his friend.

Bryan sighed, "Jack I wish you the very best of luck my friend." And Jack and Bryan left for the chapel.

"OK, Rose, you have ten minutes until you became a married woman, any last confessions?" Brittany asked Rose. Rose looked at her two friends and all three of them started giggling. Suddenly Rose got really serious and teasingly told her friends in a whisper "Don't tell Jack about Megan" At that remark they all started laughing again. When they finally calmed down they looked at the clock; they had five minutes to get to the chapel. Rose checked her hair one last time, grabbed her bouquet, and left with her friends to the chapel.

Jack came from the side-entrance to the altar. He saw the priest standing and talking to Bryan. He looked around the chapel. The only people there were going to be Jack, Rose, Dianna, Bryan, and Brittany. And of course the priest and the organ player. Suddenly Brittany stuck her head in and announced that Rose was ready. The priest nodded and signaled for the organ lady to begin playing. And than the doors opened…

Rose watched as Brittany and Dianna started down the isle. 'They looked so calm' she thought 'of course there not the ones getting married.' After what seamed like forever, they were at the altar. 'This is it' Rose thought. She took a deep breath and started down the isle. She kept her head down because she was so nervous. But as soon as she lifted her head and saw Jack standing there looking very happy and excited at the same time, the nervousness washed away. She smiled at him the whole way to the altar. When she finally got to him, he took one of his arms and put it around her waist, than he took the other arm and put it on Rose's shoulder. At that Rose put her hand on Jacks hand on her shoulder, and the ceremony began.

"Do you, Rose, take this man to be your husband, for better, for worse, till death do you part?" The priest asked Rose about 5 minutes later.

"I do" Rose said softly.

"And do you, Jack, take Rose to be your wife, for richer, for poorer and in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"

"I always have, and I always will. I do." Jack told the priest.

The priest nodded and said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you my kiss the bride." Jack and Rose looked at each other and leaned in for the kiss. It was one of those long, passionate, French kisses that leaves you breathless afterwards. When they parted, Jack and Rose found Bryan, Dianna, and Brittany staring at them with smiles on their faces. Jack and Rose turned to each other and smiled their new life had begun!
