JACK AND ROSE: TOGETHER FOREVER
Chapter Three

After a small lunch reception in a back room of the church, Jack and Rose gathered up their things and left for their wedding afternoon and dinner. The two lovers couldn't have been happier as they rode away, waving to their friends. Bryan and Dianna had rented a car for them to use for the night, as a wedding present. As their friends faded away, Jack and Rose stuck their heads inside the car window. Jack put the glass up so the driver couldn't hear what they were saying. Jack put his arm around Rose's shoulders and she put her head on his shoulder.

"Well Mrs. Dawson, how does it feel to be married?" Jack jokingly asked Rose.

"You mean to the best, cutest groom in the world?" Rose challenged. Jack smiled. Jack leaned down to kiss her. As the kiss deepened, Jack moved his lips down Roses' neck. "Oh, Jack," Rose sighed "I can hardly wait for tonight."

"Me either" Jack told her as he lifted his head up. "So where are we going for dinner?" Rose asked Jack.

"Well," he replied " I thought we would go to a very good Italian restaurant I went to a few years ago. Its called Maria's. They have every different kind of Italian food you could ever imagine. They also have very good service. Does that sound good to you?" Jack asked her.

"I love Italian food, that sounds great." Rose answered him smiling a very big smile and laying her head on Jacks shoulder once again.

For the rest of the day Jack and Rose drove around New York, looked at the scenery, and just enjoyed being together. When it was time to go to dinner, Jack had the driver stop about two blocks away so they could walk in the cool night air. "All right than you two have a nice evening, you sure you don't need a ride back to your apartment?" The driver, John, asked.

"We are completely sure." Jack and Rose said in unison.

"And thank you." Rose told him. The driver tipped his hat and drove off. Jack put his arm around Rose and she took his other hand in her own as they walked. Rose smiled up at Jack. 'He is really cute' she thought. Jack noticed Rose looking up at him and asked, "What?"

"Oh nothing, I am just very happy." Rose told him. They stopped and smiled at each other for a while. Than they began walking again. When they reached the restaurant Jack opened the door for Rose and she playfully said in a high-society voice "Thank you." Jack smirked. He remembered the last time she did that. He followed her into Maria's. Jack led Rose up to the front desk. "Dawson reservation." Jack told the man. The desk-man nodded and led them to a private table in the back of the restaurant. The table was nice, with a small vase in the middle with a few red roses in the middle. It was also close to a couple of big open widows. Rose smiled. Jack dismissed the desk-man. He left with a swish of his over coat. Jack pulled Rose's chair out for her, and she smiled at him. After they were both seated, Jack took Rose's hands and smiled at her from across the small table. She gave him a big dazzling smile. Jack and Rose stared at each other until the waiter can. And even than they were too busy to see that he had arrived.

"Can I take you order." The waiter asked them with a heavy French accent. The two lovers' didn't reply.

"Ahem!" the waiter said loudly.

"Oh sorry." Jack said somewhat embarrassed.

"Um, what would you like Rose?" Jack asked her.

"I think I will have some lasagna." Rose told him the waiter wrote Rose's choice down.

"I think I will have the manicotti." Jack told him after.

"All right, would you like some wine with that." The waiter asked.

"Of course." Jack and Rose answered in union. They look at each other and started laughing. The waiter rolled his eyes, picked up the unused menus, and walked off.

"I really don't think he was very happy with us." Rose playfully told Jack.

"What was your first clue Sherlock." Jack playfully said back. They started laughing all over again. Jack and Rose talked until the food got there. Rose and Jack ate in silence for a while, and Rose wondered why Jack was so quite. He was usually making jokes about everything and nothing.

"Jack what is the matter, did I do something?" Rose asked him.

"What? Rose you didn't do anything."

"Well than why are you so quite?" Rose questioned him back.

"You'll find out in a minute." Jack told her. Rose shrugged and when back to her meal. Than just as she was finishing up the last of her very good lasagna, she heard music start up. Rose vaguely recognized it from somewhere, but she didn't know where. She picked her head up for the second time that day and saw Jack smile at her.

"Mrs. Dawson, would you like to dance?" Jack asked her. Rose smiled and followed him out to the dance floor. Now she recognized the music, it was Irish music similar to that on the Titanic. Jack took her into his arms and spun her gracefully around the floor. Rose closed her eyes and just let Jack spin her. They danced for what seamed like forever and even got to dance to their song, Come Josephine in my Flying Machine. When the music ended and the bill paid, Jack and Rose went out the doors and left for home.

When they did get home, Rose was felling giddy. She didn't know if it was from the wine or what. And Jack was back to his original self.

"Well Jack I had a wonderful time tonight. I loved it. And I love you." Rose told him.

"I did too Rose, and I love you more than you could imagine." At that Rose leaned in and kissed Jack. Jacks started to back her into the bedroom, undressing her as they went.

"I love you Rose." Jack told her.

"Me too Jack, me too." Rose answered. "Jack take me back to the stars." Rose whispered.

And so, Jack and Rose spent the night in the stars where they always wanted to be.
