JACK AND ROSE AFTER TITANIC
Chapter Two
"Where are you taking me?" Rose
asked angrily.
"You will find out, sweetpea," Cal
said, stopping the car.
"Cal, what are you doing?" a now scared
Rose asked.
Saying nothing, Cal got out of the car and
slowly walked over to Rose's side.
"Cal, what are you doing?" Rose
asked once more.
"You will find out," Cal said,
opening the door and reaching behind the seat.
Rose tried to escape at that moment, but Cal
was too fast. He grabbed her by the arm and put something over her face until
she stopped fighting.
Not knowing if Rose was alive or dead, Cal
dragged her limp body back to the car and put her in the trunk.
*****
Cal had just gotten back on the highway when
a cop pulled him over.
"Open the trunk, please," the cop
said.
"Don't you know who I am?"
"Yes. You are Caledon Hockley. You don't
have any special rights. Now open the trunk!"
Cal opened the trunk because he had no
choice.
When the officer saw Rose, he felt for a
pulse. Turning to Cal, he said, "You are lucky she is alive." He
handcuffed Cal and led him to the police car. After he put Cal in the car, he
radioed for help.
Three Months Later
Rose had recovered fully from her ordeal and
was back with Jack.
"Rose, listen to this. Caledon Hockley
was killed as he tried to escape from prison last week. He was climbing a one
hundred-foot wall when he lost his balance and fell to his death. He died
instantly."
Rose was happy that Cal could never hurt her
again.
"I am sorry, Rose," Ruth said,
walking into the room. "I had no idea how bad Cal was until you almost
died."
"It is okay. I forgive you," Rose
said, hugging her. "Do you want a tour of the movie studio tomorrow?"
"That would be great," Ruth
replied, thankful for a second chance.
