LOVERS LOST AND CHILDREN FOUND
Chapter Four
Jack sighed; Eva was about to get
her answer.
"Yes, I was."
Eva thought, Amazing. I have a
father.
"Eva, how will this change
the way I look at you?"
"Well, Jack, did you know a
seventeen-year-old girl named Rose?"
"Yeah…" Jack was
nervous and anxious.
"Well, Jack, my last name is
Dawson!"
Jack was putting the pieces of
the puzzle together. "Stay here, Eva." Jack went into the other room
to get Summer. Once he had, he took her down the street to Mrs. Winslet.

Rose was preparing their dinner.
As she walked over to the radio and turned it on, a song came on that she knew
all too well.
Come Josephine in my flying
machine
Going up she goes, up she goes…
Rose sang while dancing and
cooking. Suddenly, she heard the front door slam. Rose got scared and turned
the radio down.
"Jack, wait here. I know it
will be hard."
"Eva! You scared me…"
She stopped when she saw who was
sitting on the couch, her eyes going wide. "Jack?"
"Rose!"
They kissed passionately, unable
to believe what had happened. Then they hugged.
"Eva, will you excuse
us?"
"Of course, Mother."
Eva went into her room to eavesdrop.
"Jack, we have so much to
talk about! Where do we even start?" Rose asked.
"Well, we both survived the
Titanic, had a child, and…oh, I have a child…"
Rose lifted her head off his
chest and looked at him. "Well, well, well. You have a child! I didn’t
even think of another man, and you have a child! Jack, I need to think about
this."
And with that, she ran out the
door. Jack followed.
Eva thought, I got my parents
back together, and they are already fighting…now I may lose my father again!
She slid down the door, crying.
