I sat in the room watching the
dying fire,
And thought to myself
How much longer?
All the pain and suffering in the world
How much longer will it last?
Who is it caused by, and why do they cause it?
Do we, as ordinary people, cause it subconsciously?
All the homeless people dying, because no one pays them any mind.
As I watched the dying fire, I asked myself
How much longer?
