MY HEART WILL GO ON
Prologue
As Rose stepped out of the dancing room, Cal
stepped out with her and put his coat on Rose. Rose was tired of how Cal
treated her.
"Cal, I can't marry you." Rose said
as she took the engagement ring off of her finger, and threw it down on the
ground.
Cal grabbed her by the arm, and said "I
would not practice yet by law so you will honor me." Rose tried to get out
of the harsh clutches from Cal.
"No, I said No!" Cal said. Rose got
one arm free, and she made her hand into a fist, and punched Cal in the nose
leaving him with a broken one. Rose started to run she heard her Mother call
out.
"Rose, Rose come back here right
now!" she did not care. As Rose kept on running, she could feel her hair
fall down. Rose did not know where she was going yet, but she had a very good
idea of what she wanted to do. She sat down in the Car, and she felt something
in the coat pocket. She was surprised to see the glimmering Heart of the Ocean.
So that's what Cal's big surprise to show
everyone was. Rose thought to herself.
"Where do you want to go Miss?" The
Driver asked.
"Anywhere, anywhere but here." Rose
said as she put the necklace back in her pocket.
