MY HEART WILL GO ON
Chapter Six

Rose woke up in the morning to see thunder clouds rolling in, and she could tell it would be gloomy. Rose put on a black dress and grabbed her umbrella and her hat. When Rose got to the address of the stone-blocking store, she saw that Kevin and Theodore were already there.

"Look, Kevin, here comes Rose!" Theodore said.

Kevin put his cigarette on the ground, and said, "She's Jack's. Leave her be." "There might be a chance, now that he's dead."

Kevin then turned around, and said, "That still doesn't mean anything. We have to be strong for Rose. It is mourning time for her, and it is for us...now stop being selfish."

Theodore nodded his head, and Rose came into the door.

"Good morning Theodore, Kevin," Rose said, as she closed her umbrella.

"Good morning, Rose," Kevin and Theodore said, in unison. "Well, why don't we start what we came here for, shall we?" Kevin asked Rose.

Rose nodded her head, and said, "Yes."

The gravestone cutter came in, and they bought the gravestone. It was a plain, simple one with the words 'Jack D. You will be missed'.

Then they went to the cemetery to put the gravestone there. Rose bought a single red rose. When the gravestone was placed, Rose placed the single red rose upon on it. Rose then spread her gentle fingers over the words 'Jack D.'

"I will never let go," Rose said, under her breath, and then placed a kiss on her two fingers, and placed the kiss upon the words. Rose got up from kneeling, and started to weep.

Theodore came over to Rose, and he whispered to her, "Come here." And she started to cry on his shoulder. It wasn't comfortable and wonderfully safe as Jack's, but in a time like this it was good to have friends like Kevin and Theodore. It was Kevin, Theodore, and Rose's day of mourning and that was what they did.
