A SIMPLE SOLUTION
Chapter Four
Once Rose and Jack got back to their room,
Jack locked the door. Then, they sat down on the bed.
"Jack, what are we going to do about
Cal?" Rose asked, taking his hand in hers.
"Rose, no matter what happens, I'll be
there for you. I won't let him hurt you. I promise."
Jack kissed Rose on top of her head, which
made her smile. That was exactly the last thing her daddy did before he died.
"I love you Jack," Rose said,
starring right into his beautiful blue eyes.
"I love you Rose."
Jack leaned over and kissed her soft on the
lips. Rose pulled Jack closer and the kiss deep end. Their lips parted and Rose
said, "Jack, take me to the stars again."
Jack smiled and kissed each one of her
fingers. "I'm so glad I met you. Now I know for sure what love is. It's so
amazing, but what is even more amazing is that you're the one I'm in love
with," Jack said.
Rose started to unbutton his shirt, not
taking her lips off of his. Jack started to help her take off her dress.
After making love, they lay unclothed in each
other's arms. Rose didn't know anything that felt better than being wrapped up
in Jack's arms. She considered herself extremely lucky.
"You're so amazing Rose," Jack said
as he started to kiss her neck.
"You are the amazing one Jack. I thank
God I found you, that I found my soul mate."
Jack smiled. Suddenly, they heard a knock on
the door.
"Who is it?" Jack asked.
"You should know Dawson, open this door.
You better not touch my fiancée!"
Jack and Rose hopped out of bed and picked up
their clothes that were scattered throughout the room. Jack helped Rose putting
her dress back on.
Jack unlocked the door and opened as Cal and
Lovejoy pushed the door open.
Cal walked over to Rose. "Sweetpea,
please come back. Your mother is worried sick. She needs you. I need you. I
love you," Cal said as he attempted to put his arm around her. She pulled
it right off.
Rose looked right into Cal's eyes. "Cal,
listen to me, please leave me alone. If you really love me, let me be. I love
Jack and he loves me," Rose said, looking up at Jack. Jack smiled at her.
Cal stood up. "Rose.." Cal forgot
was he was going to say as he noticed Rose's underwear was on Jack's shoulder.
Oops!
Rose noticed it the same time Cal did. Rose
motioned for Jack to look at his shoulder and he did and quickly took it off
and put it in his side pocket, but it was too late.
"So, you really are a slut, aren't you
Rose?" Cal said.
Cal punched Rose, hard, sending her to the
ground. Jack attempted to run to her, only to be held back by Lovejoy.
Lovejoy violently grabbed Jack behind his
arms and pulled him out of the room.
Lovejoy pulled him into a closet. Jack
struggled away from Lovejoy, but it did no good. Lovejoy grabbed his foot and
Jack came tumbling down.
"You son of a Bitch!" Jack yelled
as he punched Lovejoy.
"Don't worry Mr. Dawson, Mr. Hockley
will be done soon."
Right when he said that Jack punched him
hard, knocking him out. Jack ran as fast as he could to his room. He opened the
door and was shocked at what he saw.
"Get off her!" Jack yelled as he
ran to Cal who was on top of Rose.
Jack kicked Cal side, making him grab his
side in pain. Jack pulled a naked Rose off the ground and pulled her behind him
as Cal stood up.
"Dawson, you better leave, or you will
be sorry. I am Caledon Hockley."
"I am Jack Dawson," Jack said as he
gave Cal the same punch he had given Spicer Lovejoy.
About an hour later...
The Master at Arms took Cal to his office,
along with Spicer Lovejoy. Since Cal had such an influence on everything
because of his money, Jack doubted any justice.
Jack held Rose in his arms. "Rose, I'm
so sorry. I betrayed you. I said I would protect you, but I couldn't. I'll
never forgive myself."
"Just hold me Jack," Rose said.
