TITANIC
Written by Souvik Biswas
Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

Hey, shameless stars, why didn’t you hide?
Hey, heartless moon, why didn’t you sink?
Was it too important to highlight that moment?
When you all knew it wouldn’t last long enough!
As dark as the sky was the water of the sea;
And inevitable was the freezing kiss of death, couldn’t you see?
How good does it feel to live your life for others’ sake,
Or does it feel better to sacrifice yours first when
Death has other prisoners to take;
Oh, fate, you played so cruel a game of poker,
Jack of hearts just became a valueless joker;
Just haven’t we thought on rosy wings their romance will flow?
Then why did you wipe out all colors at one go?
Had it been so dark that everybody turned blind,
Nobody could know anything had God been so kind…
But wait…how was that possible?
Light of love was never extinguishable.
Darker was the shadow of death, brighter did it glow,
Through the open eyes the warmth of love did flow.
Had the eyes remained open for a little longer,
They could’ve lived a little longer…together…
But soon crept in fatigue and unconsciousness,
And came the serpents of death on a chariot of dark & cold waves,
To claim the soul who has just lived the best moments of his life;
To snap his thread of life with a shiny deadly freezing knife;
Deep down his body did sink,
But establishing with his love an everlasting immortal link;
How much you try, how much we cry,
It’s always love who wins, spring of romance never runs dry.
