WATCHING
OVER HER

Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.
Rose laughed as she and Jack ran up the small
stone path with their two kids. They had a girl, about five, with wavy,
strawberry-blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Her name was Madeline. The other
child was a son, with the curliest, reddest hair ever, and the same blue eyes.
His name was Adam, and he was three, being carried into a small, cozy country
cottage by his father.
The family had just spent a day at the beach,
building sandcastles, then destroying them, splashing around in the waves, and
when Jack fell asleep, they buried him in sand, except for his head. It was a
perfect day.
Now it was slowly getting dark, so Rose
bathed the kids while Jack cooked dinner. Rose smiled as she sat at the table,
looking around at her perfect family. Life couldn't be any better...

...until she opened her eyes to the sound of
her alarm clock. She was back in her cold New York apartment. Rose sighed and
struggled to get herself to leave the warmth of her bed. She'd had another
dream about him. She's had one every night for a month--ever since the tragedy
that had changed her life. Ever since then, she's thanked the Lord for letting
her live, even when she has to work fourteen hours a day to make a decent
living. She's working up to her dream, her dream to be an actress, and to live
her life to the fullest, and finally to spend eternity with Jack. It's one of
the signs that lets her know that he's always watching over her.
The End.
