*The Palace, Konan Country, the Courtyard*
Kerry: *playing chess* So, Chichiri, did you catch anything yet?
Chichiri: No, no daa.
Kerry: *moving rook* Do you ever catch anything, Chichiri?
Chichiri: No, no daa.
Kerry: Are there even fish in that pond, Chichiri?
Chichiri: No, no daa.
Kerry: *looking at board* Then why do you do it, Chichiri?
Chichiri: I don't know, no daa.
Tasuki: Don't ask him about that he's kinda touchy.
Hotohori: Don't antagonize him, Tasuki! *moves pawn*
Kerry: Why? Did he have a horrible accident in the water that scarred him for life or something?
Chichiri: DAAAAAAAA! *cries in anguish, and then goes and sulks*
Kerry: What? What did I say? *moves knight* Check.
Hotohori: You don't want to know, Kerry. *moves king*
Kerry: What? What happened? *moves pawn* Check.
Tasuki: Oh, well, you see, when Chichiri was eighteen, he was going to marry this girl when she cheated on him with his best friend, so he killed the guy in a flood *Tasuki goes flying when Chichiri punches him*
Hotohori: I warned you, Tasuki. *moves king*
Kerry: *looking up from the board* Well, I'm really sorry to hear that, Chichiri! I'm very sorry if I brought back any unwanted memories. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything
Hotohori: Hurry up and play!
Kerry: *looks down at the board to move her queen, then looks back up* I didn't mean to upset you, Chichiri. Are you mad at me? Please don't say that you're mad at me!
Chichiri: I'm not mad at you, Kerry-chan, you didn't know, no daa. It's Tasuki that I'm mad at no daa.
Kerry: Good. *looks at Hotohori, who is studying the chessboard in puzzlement* Oh yeah, Hotohori-sama that's checkmate! Bye! *stands up and walks over to where Tasuki is*
Tasuki: Owwie.
Kerry: Here, Tasuki, let me help you up. *helps up Tasuki*
Tasuki: Owwie.
Kerry: Ooh. That bump on your head looks pretty bad. Come with me, and I'll patch you up.
Tasuki: Owwie.
*The Palace, Konan Country, Kerry's room*
Kerry: *touching, very gently, Tasuki's bump* Ooh. That really looks like it hurts. Did you land on your head or something?
Tasuki: Owwie.
Kerry: Oh! And you have a cut on your chin! And another on your elbow!
Tasuki: Owwie.
Kerry: *getting hydrogen peroxide ready* This'll sting, just a little bit *puts it on Tasuki's cuts*
Tasuki: OWWIE!!!!!!
Kerry: *rolls her eyes* Men are such babies.
Tasuki: No! That really hurt!
Kerry: No. It only stung.
Tasuki: Whatever
Kerry: Doesn't it feel better now, though?
Tasuki: *realizing that it does * Yeah. It really does.
Kerry: Now, give me your arm. *Tasuki gives her his arm, and she puts the hydrogen peroxide on the cut, but he doesn't move. He just looks into her eyes* See? That wasn't so bad.
Tasuki: *snapping out of the trance* What?
Kerry: *taking out bandage* Tasuki, you have to take better care of your body. It'll get destroyed if you keep this up
Tasuki: Thank you.
Kerry: *looking up while she's bandaging Tasuki's arm* For what?
Tasuki: For this.
Kerry: Oh, really, it's nothing. I took first aid in high school wait did I?
Tasuki: That's so great! You're starting to remember!
Kerry: Yeah, I guess I am this is wonderful!
Tasuki: *his arm is COVERED with the bandage* Ano Kerry-chan?
Kerry: Yes?
Tasuki: You're cutting off the blood supply to my arm.
Kerry: *realizes that she's bandages Tasuki's ENTIRE arm and almost used the whole role of bandage* OOPS.
Tasuki: You're so absent-minded.
Kerry: Sorry. *starts to unravel the bandage*
Tasuki: I take it back. You're exactly like Miaka
Kerry: Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Tasuki: It's a good thing. *he looks into Kerry's eyes, and their eyes meet, but, reluctantly, Kerry pulls away* Well, thank you for fixing me up, Kerry-chan!
Kerry: I said, it's no problem.
Tasuki: Well, ano I oughta be *their eyes meet again, but this time, Tasuki pulls away* I better go apologize to Chichiri for saying that stuff bye, Kerry-chan!
Kerry: *looking at Tasuki leave, longingly* Bye, Tasuki-kun!
*Outside the Capitol, Konan Country, a paved road*
Kokie: Well, we've been riding for how many days now? Six? Seven? How big is Konan anyway?
Amefuri: It's pretty big.
Toroki: Well, would you mind checking again, because \
Amefuri: Alright, but there's no point, you know how many chi's I'm going to pick up that are of any significance? None. *she concentrates then gasps* Oh my!
Tatara: What? What is it?
Amefuri: There are nine LARGE chis! And one of them is the same as the one I felt earlier, but it's fainter.
Toroki: Told ya so!
Amefuri: Shut up!
Subaru: Oh stop it, you too! Which way are they?
Amefuri: *concentrates* *points to the capitol* That way.
Tatara: The Capitol? Why the Capitol? I don't get it why would she end up in the capitol of Konan Country, where it's hardest for us to get to her?
Kokie: Why would she end up in Konan Country at all? All the other five mikos that came before her appeared in the country of their god. Why the Capitol? Why not?
Subaru: I agree with Kokie. This is most strange! I just don't feel comfortable with all this. Something has to be wrong. Why would her chi be weakened?
Amefuri: Either she's hurt or her chi is being guarded by someone else.
Toroki: Well, what are we waiting for? An engraved invitation? Let's go!
