Five Brave Fire Fighters
A Fingerplay
Five brave fire fighters, sleeping so.
(Wiggle the fingers on one hand, then tilt head to one side, put palms together and place under head.)
The fire bell rings, down the pole they go.
(Pretend to ring an imaginary bell and slide down an imaginary pole.)
Jump in the fire truck, hurry down the street.
(Take a little jump.)
Climb the ladder, feel the heat.
(Pretend to climb an imaginary ladder. Extend hands out to feel heat)
Five brave fire fighters put the fire out.
(Hold up one hand and wiggle fingers.)
"Hip! Hip! Hooray!," all the people shout!
(Extend palms out, side by side, bounce hands and wiggle fingers to indicate people cheering.)
