A Fingerplay
Have a few class clowns?
Ask five children to volunteer to act out this poem; then transform them into clowns by putting one red sticky dot on each child’s nose.
Here come five funny circus clowns!
Here come five funny circus clowns
Doing their tricks while marching into town.
One is short and circles around.
One is bouncy and jumps up and down.
One is tall and stands so proud.
One is happy and waves at the crowd.
One is small and sweet and wee—-
The funniest one you’ll ever see.
