Journey's End Part 2 continued the great story that the first part began. Sorry I took so long with the review, but now that I'm back, I can finally get reviewing this excellent episode.
First of all, I loved all of the excellent Ranger fight scenes that were in this episode. There's only one scene that I found a little cheesy. That was when Leo was first blown up by the Stingwingers and went flying back into some of the wreckage. It looked a bit too cheesy. But all of the other scenes were very well done and had a great feel.
I also liked how Villamax showed his good side when he refused to fire on that ship and even went so far as to sacrafice his life without fighting Trakeena. His character reminded me of Ecliptor in that sense.
I didn't like how the Rangers acted so nonchalant when the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords were destroyed. It was like they only cared for a few seconds, then went on as if nothing had happened.
The Astro Megaship fight was awesome. I loved the feel of desperation that surrounded it, when Leo went to go look for Alpha and they found out that the doors were jammed. The ending explosion didn't seem like much, though. But it was still cool.
One thing alot of people have complained about is how Leo was able to breathe on the moon. I believe that it's been established before that there is air on the moons in the Power Ranger Universe, so it's really nothing that strange.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable part of the Journey's End saga.
Ciao!
