Chibiusa's real name is Usagi, but most call her Chibiusa. One day she appears out of nowhere and drops on Usagi's head. She is searching the Ginzuishou and she knows that Usagi has them. That's why Chibi Usa hypnotizes Usagi's family and poses as her cousin. Further she butters Ami up by telling her that she wants to study at her place because she thinks Usagi might have given the Ginzuishou to Ami. She drugs Rei and her friends in order to search Rei's room. This shows that she is a persistent girl. At the beginning she doesn't trust anyone in present Tokyo not even Mamoru although she likes him very much. So she doesn't tell the senshi why she needs the Ginzuishou and she often feels lonely. Her only friend is Luna P, a robotic toy/pet that protects her. Luna P can turn into or create any item Chibi Usa wants. She can also use it to communicate with Sailorpluto, who is a very good friend of her in Crystal Tokyo. The senshi of time has given her a small time key and encourages her to trust in Sailormoon and the senshi. Later she learns to confide in Sailormoon.
But that doesn't mean that Chibi Usa always gets on well with Usagi. Because of her stubbornness and temper she and Usagi often fly at each other. Chibi Usa competes with Usagi for Mamoru's affection. The little girl is very much like Usagi, but both will deny that. Like Usagi Chibi Usa is afraid of thunderstorms and of dentists. Both like eating sweets and reading comics. She also chumps in with others easily. So she befriends Hotaru, Peruru and Pegasus. When her friends are in trouble she braves danger. Therefore she would never budges an inch and let her friends down. Unlike Usagi Chibi Usa doesn't fight with Shingo. Her test results are better than Usagi's. Further she can draw beautiful pictures. She sticks by her conviction even when she sometimes runs into trouble.

By and large it can be said that Chibi Usa is a very courageous and though little girl. Bear in mind she leaves her home, travels through time and makes herself a new home among strangers. And all the time she bothers about those she had to left behind although she does not show very often how homesick she really feels.
