X-FILES CHARACTER PROFILES

Agent Fox Mulder
Fox Mulder became a 'Believer' in the paranormal when at the age of 13 his sister Samantha was abducted. Ever since he has continued to try to find out about what happened to his sister. He was born on the 11th of October,1960 , making him 37 years old. He was well educated and graduated from Quantico in 1988, where he picked up the nickname 'Spooky Mulder'. He has since found it his duty to find the truth hidden by the U.S. Government and to let the American Citizens know the truth.

Agent Dana Scully
Dana Scully is a scientifically minded agent who believes that there is a scientific answer to any mystery. She is extremely clever and passed through university with flying colours. She was assigned to the X-Files division on the 7th of March,1992. She is a fully trained doctor and oftens demonstrates this in many episodes. She is fully supportive of Mulder and stands up for her partner even when she doesn't believe in his ideas.

Assistant Director Skinner
Walter Skinner is a sub-director in the F.B.I. and is Mulder and Scully's Boss. It is him who they have to answer to if they do anything wrong. They are finding at the moment that he is becoming more honest and helpful to them. He is often called upon to take control of Mulder and Scully, under the orders of Cancer Man.

Cancer Man..aka. Cigarette smoking man.
Cancer Man is a very secretive character who is part of a multinational super-secret government organistation which has been created to cover up the truth about Aliens Life on the earth. He gets his nickname from the fact that he always smokes and evidently has lung cancer as a result of this. He greatly frustrates Mulder in that he refuses to tell them anything about what he is protecting, on several occasions he has prevented Mulder from finding out more about the truth in this matter.

Deep Throat
Deep Throat was Mulder's original source and willingly provided sensitive advice in order to help Mulder find out the truth. He was a middle aged man with grey hair. He had top level security clearance and often had to put a stop to how much Mulder found out at time. I am talking of him in the past tense because he was killed by Mulder's captors late in the first series. He knew what was going on in the top secret agencies concerning most things and was directly responsible for several extra-terrestrial experiments.

Mr. X
Mr. X is the successor of Deep Throat and is a tall dark skinned man. He has a well trimmed beard and is always immaculately dressed. He is Mulder's source when he is needed most. He has a very high post in a top secret government agency and is above top level security clearance. He is only summoned when either Mulder or Scully put a masking tape X on the bottom right window pane in his apartment. He is very mysterious and is definite about the fact that he will not risk losing his life or postion for the truth or Mulder.

The Lone Gunmen
These people are obsessed with how the government is trying to cover so much up from the citizens. They are very secretive and safety conscious. They are also very well informed and have many secret sources and underworld links for obtaining information. They seem to know of many experiments and happenings. They believe in nearly all of Mulder's hair brained ideas and often give him support with his hypotheses. The three of them are : Byers, who is the leader of the gang, he has a very formal manner. Secondly there's Langley who is what could be described as a geek, he wears black plastic glasses and has long blonde hair and is highly paranoid. Frohike is the third and final member of the team, he says little and has a great fondness for Scully often referring to her as "hot"! They were created by the writers who based them on three fans at a convention, where they actually believed that the metallic strip in dollar bills were a government tracking device!

Agent Krycek
Alex Krycek was a new addition to the X - Files department in the F.B.I.. He tried to be too helpful to Mulder, who ended up trying to get rid of him. He, we later find out, works for Cancer Man gathering information for Mulder and trying to lead him away from the truth. He soon disappears around the same time as Scully did. He then turns up as Cancer Man's evil henchmen.
