From: The Western Flats
Lupe is the leader of her wolf pack and an active Freedom Fighter. Unlike the majority of the cast in Sonic, she is a full adult in her thirties. Lupe had her own family for the entire time Robotnik reigned in Robotropolis, but she and the pack returned home recently to the Western Flats. Once there, they discovered that Lupe's family had been roboticized by Sonic's Uncle Chuck. Left with no other choice, Lupe allowed herself to be roboticized so that the others could escape such a fate. She maintained her free will long enough to help the others break free, but knew that she was doomed. The wolf pack bid her and her family farewell and traveled on.
History:
The wolf pack's history is cloudy in the Sonic series. Lupe would appear every once in a while with the pack to lend a hand against Robotnik. I know that they fought against Robotnik on their own while they traveled, and that Drago was a part of the pack before he was discovered as a spy, but that's about it.
