Tails is a two tailed fox that has been with the Freedom Fighters for a long time. He uses his ability to fly on missions to defeat Robotnik. He pretty much idolizes Sonic, and dreams of being able to run like Sonic does someday.
History:
Tails was born in Mobotropolis a short time before the Coup. His mother's whereabouts are unknown and his father was robotisized the day he was born, so my guess is that he never knew his parents. Sonic dubbed him as Tails, though his real name is Miles. He went to Knothole with the rest of his friends, but Princess Sally said he was too young to be a Freedom Fighter. Tails constantly trained to become a Freedom Fighter, and was always trying to convince Sally that he was ready for it. Finally, after his solo trip to Downunda, he managed to gain Sally's trust and became an official Freedom Fighter. Since that time, Tails has worked alongside the other Freedom Fighters to take Robotnik down, even though he had at times done so before he became a Freedom Fighter.
