sounds ever laid down on a single album. 'Rage of
Creation' is jam packed with everything that turned you
on to heavy metal to begin with: Awesome Screaming
Vocals, Blazing Guitar Leads, tons of smokin' bass, killer
drums sonics . . . need I go on?. There are different
flavors on this album ranging from Black Sabbath/Helloween/
Iron Maiden-type uptempo stuff to no frills melodic metal;
there is also a really dark downtuned song that starts off in
the Sepultura-vein and then goes thru a lot of changes;
there is a great ballad and an awesome cover tune as
well. Really a very well rounded album and the
performances by Rob Rock and Roy Z are totally amazing. "Rage
of Creation" CD is heavy and more metal-oriented partially
because there are no keyboards to speak of. In summary, this
release moves; it has fire and it

This could very well be the album of the year, from the start until the end we hear sounds of splendid guitar driven heavy metal which will not leave any fans of that genre untouched.
The music could be described as fastdriven heavy metal with many solos (the sentenced 'many solos' gets a new meaning in this awesome CD) and Rob Rock band show that they are a dream team when coming to create interesting metal songs, none of them are boring and none sounds like the other. But the most impressive things is to be found on the last track, 'The hour of dawn", a 12 minute epic track that for sure will blow you away, it starts as an atmospheric metal hymn and ends with a 4½ minute long guitar solos , or should I say 16 different solos (some keyboard added as well), here we get some of the finest guitarists out there delievering some awesome shreddings!!
The production is worldclass. "Eyes of
Eternity" will surely rock your world!!!

After
the celebrated release and the top chart positions (a.o. two
weeks Top 40 positions in Germanys album charts) of Tobias
Sammets AVANTASIA - The Metal Opera Pt. 1 Rob Rock is a guest
again ( Rob sings parts on 2 songs with an all-star cast
performing this awesome Metal Rock Opera) and the album is
expected to chart in Europe as well as the first one did. The
line-up of part two is similar to the 1st part. Among Rob
Rock, Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen, André Matos, Henjo Richter,
Markus Großkopf, Alex Holzwarth, David de Feis, Oliver
Hartmann, Sharon Den Adel, Ralf Zdiarstek and Timo Tolkki will
also appear Bob Catley (Magnum) and Eric Singer (Kiss). The
final 2nd part is characterized by atmospheric density and has
a stronger musical aspect without losing the typical Sammet
trademarks.
