Basic Numbers

These are the basic numbers from zero to ninety-nine. These also end in I, as you read in the previous lesson.

zi = 0
xi = 1, ni = 2, ri = 3, fi = 4, vi = 5, si = 6, li = 7, gi = 8, yi = 9, tani = 10
tanixi = 11, tanini = 12, taniri = 13, tanifi = 14, tanivi = 15
tanisi = 16, tanili = 17, tanigi = 18, taniyi = 19, nitani = 20
ritani = 30 fitani = 40, vitani = 50, sitani = 60, litani = 70, gitani = 80, yitani = 90, yitaniyi = 99

After ten you count 'ten-one, ten-two, ten-three' and so on. At 20, you put the 'two' before the 'ten' making it 'two tens'. The number of tens comes before the ten, and the number added to that is after the ten. This pattern will continue with hundreds, thousands, and up.
