1. Call To Order. The Special Meeting of November 13, 2005 was called to order at 2:00 p.m. 1A. Roll Call. Present were Malcolm Taggart, Helen Smith, Perry Savoie and Mike Larsen. 2. Bi-election for Ward 5. Due to the resignation of Ward 5 Councillor Pat Shaw, a bi-election would be held for Ward 5. Marg Dunn would be hired to arrange the bi-election. Motion # 1. Motion THAT Marg Dunn be hired as elections officer and arrange the immediate by-election for Ward 5. Moved by Perry Savoie, Seconded by Mike Larsen. Vote: 4 in favour. Motion # 1 Carried. 3. Adjournment. Motion # 2. Motion THAT the special meeting be adjourned. Moved by Helen Smith, Seconded by Perry Savoie. Vote: 4 in favour. Motion # 2 Carried. Chair Taggart adjourned the meeting at 2:20 pm. |
