It was a day just like any other. Well, except for
the other day... That was just plain weird. Dusty
kept her gaze in front of her as she walked to her
first period class. The whole school was going on
a field trip to the Sayako Chocolate factory. She
should have been excited but for some reason she
couldn't get her mind off the other day.
Everyone had died, right in front of her. What was
going on? She closed her eyes letting out a big
sigh. Right when she opened her eyes she bumped
into someone, not really hard but still she bumped
into this person. "Hey! Loo-" Look where you're
going is what she was going to say but upon
further inspection she found out that she had just
bumped into Jun! OMG she thought, What to
say! "Umm... I'm s-sorry..." She looked off to the
side a slight blush to her. Jun looked down on her
like the sophomore she was before his eyes caught
sight of the bracelet on her wrist, a smirk grew
on his face. "Naw it's okay." Dusty's cheeks grew
even brighter and she knew it. She started on her
way again but Jun grabbed her shoulder before she
could get very far. "Hey Dusty, you want to go out
sometime?" Dusty turned to face him looking
shocked. "So how about tomorrow sometime?" Dusty
nodded slightly speechless. "I have your number I
will call you today sometime." Jun grinned and
then turning on his heel left for his own class.
Dusty stood there in the hall silent. The only
thing missing was the tumble weed rolling by.
Suddenly Zany came running down the hall and
popped up ring in front of Dusty. "Hey Dusty!
What's with you?" Dusty jumped back slightly, she
was now out of her trance. "What?" Zany
grinned. "Come on we need to get to class we're
going to the factory today." Zany griped Dusty's
wrist and commenced dragging her to her next class.
Dusty looked out the window as Zany bounced
happily in the seat next to her. The trip there
was long and boring as well as filled with an
abundance of stupid songs. Mainly the wheels on
the bus. It was amazing that high schoolers would
even think of singing such songs. She let out a
sigh before looking out the window again... What?
Is that the red car she had seen the other day?
She looked at the car a little more. It was the
car! Are these people stalking her or what?
Suddenly the car sped off in front of the buss and
eventually out of sight. Zany poked Dusty on the
shoulder. Dusty had been frozen the whole
trip. "Hey Dusty! We're here! Everyone s getting
off the buss!" Dusty blinked for a bit and then
looked to Zany and forced a smile. "Oh sorry I'm
just thinking." They both exited the buss. The
field trip over all was very boring, the only good
thing about it was getting to eat all the
chocolate they wanted. But of course the teachers
lied about that and only gave them so much of the
stuff. The field trip was almost at it's end and
the whole class had about enough of Celest
Sayako's tour of the place. She was the owners
daughter and they were to feel privileged that she
took time out of her school to give them a tour.
What was wrong with this girl? Was her whole life
about chocolate or what? And on top of that she
was very clumsy. She had almost fallen off of the
cat walk into the large tubs of melted chocolate
about ten times. Which made the teachers uneasy
and they started to question their own safety. Ha!
That's right think about your self and forget your
students. They were let loose to roam around a
large room full of things explaining "The History
of Chocolate". Dusty was sitting down on one of
the cushy benches in the room. She Couldn't keep
her mind from wondering. The other day, those
people following her, and on top of that her date
with Jun. She started to wonder off into her own
little world trying to think of what to do next
what to say how to act. "Hey! You bored?" Dusty
looked to the speaker. It was Celest. "Oh yeah..
Heh.. I was."
"I do that all the time. I didn't even want to be
here you know? Father made me come here..." Dusty
looked at her a bit confused. She didn't even know
this girl and she was talking to her. It wasn't
bad or anything just confusing. "This place is so
boring. I'm starting to hate chocolate to tell you
the truth." Celest smiled at Dusty and Dusty
returned the favor. Dusty could feel Zany's glare
on her. Zany always hated it when someone tried
to "take" her best friend. Then just as Dusty
thought it couldn't get any worse here come Dele
her life long rival. She let out a troubled sigh
and proceeded to talk to Celest as if nothing was
happening. "So what's your name?"
"Oh, I'm Dusty. It's nice to meet you." They
exchanged smiles.
Then suddenly the lights went out thank God Dusty
thought. Those thoughts didn't last long, when the
lights came back on everyone was falling to the
floor. Dusty began to feel light headed her self.
"What's going on?" Celest started to panic
obviously feeling the same effect. Dusty tried to
clam her self she started to look around for an
exit, she grabbed hold of Celests arm and dragged
her to the door. It was locked! Were all the exits
locked like this? She looked around the room
people were trying to get out and failing
miserably. Suddenly she blacked out, she didn't
remember hitting the floor she just remembered
falling for about two seconds.
Her vision was starting to come back, blinking the
blurriness out of her eyes she looked around.
Dusty could hear voices. But she didn't know them.
She started to pull herself up to get a better
view. Two figures were moving about they were
moving from one person to another... What were
they doing? She got to her feet and then pointed
to them. "Hey you!" Her bracelet started to glow
and the staff appeared in her hands. After finding
out that she could do such a thing she perfected
it over night. Both of the figures looked at her.
They were two females, one had a slightly green
colored skin the other had skin with a blue tint
to it. They both had on matching jump suits and
blond hair.
"Like, what?" one of them spoke.
"This must be the twerp Amuku like totally warned
us about."
"Yeah for sure! Warned us about what?" She blue
colored one rolled her eyes.
They both put on large smiles which made them very
creepy.
Dusty put her staff in front of herself. "Who are
you?!"
"Why should we tell someone as ugly as you!" Dusty
narrowed her eyes at them, no one called her ugly!
She was the most beautiful girl in her school!
"Oh come on Shallow we can at least tell her
before we like totally kill her, like pow she's
dead."
"Oh my gwad! Vapid! You're so stupid."
So that's what their names were the blue Shallow
the green Vapid.
"Like, you hurry up Vapid I'll take care of the
twerp." Shallow started to walk towards Dusty as
vapid continued with whatever they were doing to
everybody.
Dusty Backed up slightly, her body started to
tremble.
Celest opened her eyes slightly. What had
happened? She set her eyes on Dusty, what was
going on? She closed her eyes tight and as tears
started to find their ways down her cheeks. She
opened her eyes. "Dusty!" She yelled out to Dusty
reaching out a hand. Out of no where there was a
flash of blue light a blue colored bracelet was
around her wrist and sapphire colored Yo Yo in her
hand. She stared at her hand a confused look on
her face. Dusty faced Celest surprised to see what
had happened. She wasn't alone! Shallow rolled her
eyes. "Oh like my job just got a million times
harder! Do you guys like just pop up every where?
I guess I will have to like totally kill both of
you." Celest stared blankly at her hand still
confused.
"Celest! Attack her!" Dusty's voice was filled
with urgency.
Celest scrambled to her feet and prepared to sing
her Yo Yo at her enemy, she felt as if she had
done this before she knew what to do. But before
she could attack an arrow made of flames hit
Shallow squarely in the back. Zany stood trembling
a fire like bow in her hands, a red colored
bracelet around her wrist. Dusty and Celest looked
to Zany astonished. Shallow was on the ground
screaming and clawing at her back. Vapid looked up
from what she was doing and let out a gasp. Vapid
ran to her sister cradling her in her arms.
"Like no one gets away with this! We are so
totally kicking your buts next time!" And with
that they disappeared. Their weapons faded from
their hands and they stood there for a moment.
Zany fell to her knees looking at her
hands. "What's going on?"
"I don't know, I think it has something to do with
the dream.." Dusty looked to Zany.
"Dream? What are you guys talking about?" Celest
was very confused and very lost.
Dusty's bracelet started to glow again and the
room was engulfed by a bright light.
When the light subsided every one was back on
their feet and walking around as if nothing had
happened. Dusty and Zany stayed quiet for the rest
of the trip.
Dusty sat on her bed thinking over the days
events. She had Celests number and had scheduled a
day to meet and talk about the weird things that
had happened. But that wasn't what was on her
mind. She was waiting for the phone to ring and
for Jun to be the one calling. Then she heard it
the phone, it stopped on the third ring. Mother
always picked up the phone on the third ring.
"Destiny! The phones for you!" She smiled and
started on her way down stairs.
"We're like totally sorry but it was your fault.
You only told us there was one."
Shallow was kneeling in a darkened room a dark
figure looking down on them.
"She did?" Vapid made one of stupid remarks which
of course was ignored.
"That is not the point! If you couldn't finish the
job with three of them there how easy do you think
it will be when the other three show up? Failure
is not an option!" Amuku looked down on them with
disgust.
"Yeah but isn't your son Like getting closer to
killing one like totally?"
"Killing one of them! Not all of them! If you
can't even do this on your own I might just have
to put you under his command! Leave, and don't
fail me again!" Amuku looked behind the two
meeting eyes with her son, a grin grew across his
face as he pressed the phone to his ear.
