On Saturday, February 3, 2001, the ZEMMER WEST 8th grade cheerleading squad won 3rd place, in a field of 8 teams, at the GRAND BLANC BOBCAT CHEER COMPETITION. This was the first time this team has been to any competition. The girls have been practicing daily for the past month to get ready for the competition. We wish to congratulate them for their effort and ultimate success, they really worked hard.
We also wish to congratulate the coaches, Debbie and Geri, for the work, energy, time and effort they dedicated to the teams these last two years.
