Chap 6 " Mel are you almost done you'll be late for your interveiw!" Leah said as Mel poked her head out of the door of the bathroom.
" Yeah i'll be out in a sec" Mel said as she went back to brushing her hair. She came out a second later and saw Leah sitting down at the table eating breakfast.
"You didnt make me anything?" Mel asked as Leah looked up at her.
" Opps sorry " Leah said as she went back to eating her dinner and Mel went to the fridge, grabbing the orange juice carton from the door. She opened it and poured some into a glass. she drank the juice and put the glass in the sink.
" Well i better get going" Mel said as she grabbed her purse and walked to the door.
" Bye" Leah said.
" Bye" Mel said as she walked out of the apartment and down the stairs.

Leah cleaned up the mess she made and washed the dishes as the phone rang.
" Hello?" Leah said as she picked up the phone.
" Hey Leah what ya doin?" AJ asked.
" Going to get ready for an interview" Leah said.
" Really for where?" AJ asked.
" It's some secretary job" Leah said as she glanced at the clock and saw it was 8:30, so she had an hour to get ready.
" Well if you dont get it the guys and i have a job for you" AJ said.
" Really whats that?" Leah asked as she finished wipping off the dishes.
" Nicky wants to know if Mel is there" AJ said.
" Tell Loverboy that Mel already left for her interview" Leah said as AJ laughed and told nick.
" Ok so what was i saying?" AJ asked.
" I'll call you later ok? I need to get ready" Leah said.
" OK talk to you later bye" AJ said.
" Bye" Leah said as she hung up and walked into her room. She walked to her closet and looked through the clothes finally decideing on a red shirt and a black knee high skirt. She changed and walked to the bathroom. She brushed her hair and walked out and saw that it was now 9:45. She grabbed her purse and walked out the door making sure to lock the door as she closed it.

Mel sat in a office chair as she waited for Mr. Vintino to come back. The door opened as Mr. Vintino walked in and sat down. He looked at Mel as he tapped his fingers on the desk.
" I'm sorry Ms. Johnson but someone has already filled the position" Mr. Vintino said.
" OK Thanks anyways Bye" mel said as she got up and walked out of his office. She got a taxi and went back to the apartment.

Leah walked into the office and sat down. The man behind the desk looked at her.
" I'm sorry Ms. Johnson but the position was filled a week ago" The man said as Leah got up.
" OK bye" Leah said as she got up and walked back to the apartment. She opened the door and saw Mel sitting on the couch already changed into her regular clothes.
" hey any luck?" Leah asked as she sat down next to Mel.
" No what about you?" Mel asked as leah shook her head and remembered what AJ had said in there conversation earlier.
" AJ said something about a job for us when i was talking to him, we could ask about it when we see them next" Leah said as Mel nodded. They watching the tv show and then went grocery shopping.
