chap 7
Leah and Mel walked out the apartment and down to the cab waiting for them. They got in and the cab pulled off.
"we need to get a car casue cabs are getting expensive" Leah said Mel nodded her head in agreement. They were on their way to some warehouse where the guys started rehersing for the tour. they had called Aj back and the job was for them to be dancers. The cab pulled up infront of the warehouse and they got out with Mel paying the driver. They walked into the warehouse and saw the guys all sitting around in chairs with a few more dancers with them. The guys all stood up and walked over to him giving them a big group hug.
"i'm happy to see you guys too" Leah said
"good we want you to meet the rest of the dancers and Fatima" Aj said. They all walked over ot where a group of people were sitting indinan style on the ground. They all stood up when Mel and Leah walked over.
"hey guys this is Melissa and Leah there the other two dancers" Kevin said pointing them out.
"Ally,Kristin,Q,Shauna,Lizzy,April,Dave,Mike,Tony,Travis,Steve,Amber,and jessica" Howie said pointing them out when he said their names.
"nice to meet you" Leah and Mel said. everyone said hi and Amber and Jessica and mumbled hi.
"hi i'm Fatime the choreographer" Fatime introduced her self.
"hi" Mel and Leah said shaking her hand.
"ok guys lets get started" Fatima yelled
"i dunno about this Leah we have no dance experience what so ever"
"yeah but lets atleast try" Leah said. They took their places beside Aj and Nick and waited for the first instruction. After five hours of non stop dancing the day was over. Leah walked over to the little cooler and took out two bottles of water. She tossed one to Mel and leaned against the wall sliding all the way to the floor. She put the bottle against her head and closed her eyes.
"hey Mel get me a water" Nick yelled. He was sitting in one of the metal chairs with the rest of the guys.
"get it yourself"Mel yelled back
"puh-lease" Mel laughed and took a water out the cooler and walked over to Nick. she handed it to her and gave her a peck on the cheek.
"thank you" he said twisting the cap off the bottle and taking a sip of the water.
"hey Aj what are you doing tonight" Jessica asked sitting next to Aj.
"nothing why?"Aj looked at her
"do you wanna go out with me and mber tonight?"
"i dunno"
"please for me. pluse i have no one to dace with"
"you can dance with any guy you wanted"
"yeah but i wanna dance with you" Jessica said putting her flirting on strong. Aj smiled at look across the room at Leah. She was still sitting against the wall with the bottle of water but her knees where pulled up to her chest and her head was resting on her arms.
"i'll take a rain chesck on that Jess" Aj said and stood up. He walked over to Leah and sat down besides her. She looked up.
"you ok?"
"yeah" leah took a sip of her water and looked across the room and her eyes locked with Jessica's. Jessica rolled her eyes and turned to Amber who then looked at Leah and did the same. fuck you too leah thought. She laid her head back down on her arms. Aj moved the lock of hair that had fallen behind her ears. Leah looked up and leaned on Aj.
"tired huh?"
"uh-huh" Leah mumbled. Aj laughed and let leah lay there. Mel walked over and looked down at Leah. She took her bottle of water andturned it upside down. The water droplets feel on Leah's face and she jumped up.
"mel i am gonna Kick you butt" She said taking of after Mel who took shelter behind Nick.
"Nick shes trying to kill me"
"we can't have that now can we" Nick said looking at Leah.
"she started it" Leah said pointing to Mel. Mel stuck her tongue out at Leah and laughed. Leah launged at Mel but Nick caught her and picked her up.
"Nick put me down" Leah yelled. Nick laughed and walked over to Aj. Aj tossed Leah into Aj's arm and he caught her. Leah stood up and glared at Nick.
"uh-oh"Nick said and took off running. Leah ran after him and tried to catch him but couldn't. She stopped and walked over to Mel who was luaghing. Leah pinched her and she screamed
"what was that for?" Mel asked holding her arm where Leah pinched her
"thats for the water and.." Leah picned her agin "thats for laughing" Tony started laughing at Leah looked at him
"whats so funny?"
"you" Tony said trying to stop laughing.
"so now i'm funny.. do i look like i'm here to amuse you people this aint no frigging comedy hour" Leah yelled putting her hands on her hips. The room erupted with laughter.
"yeah..you are" Brian said between laughes
"if you could see your face" Mel said laughing.
"I can't deal with you people i'm leaving" Leah said shaking her head. She looked back at them and smiled.
"AJ LETS GO" she yelled
"why do i have to leave now?"
"casue i need a ride home and i be dammed if i catch another cab"
"ok fine i'm coming" Aj got up and jogged over to Leah with his gym bag over his shoulder.
"what about me?" Mel asked
"get a ride form Mr.giggles" Leah said pointing to Nick. Nick snorted causing everyone else to laugh harder.
"who would i ride with?"Nick asked "i came with him" he said pointing to Aj
"fine then get a ride with Mr.HAHA HEHE!"Leah said pointing to Brian
"its just so funny when you try to be mean" Brian said
"yeah, you never could be mean even if you tried" Aj said
"thats because i'm a nice person" Leah said with a nod.
"thats right" Aj said nodding. The laughter was gone and eveyone got ready to Leave. Leah Mel and Nick all got in the car with Aj and they left.
