Nick,Mel,Leah,and Aj stood around just looking at each other. They were sitting in the backyard under the huge willow tree. Today the guys would leave on their tour and in two week Mel and Leah would be moving to Chicago.
"I'm gonna miss you guys?" Mel said fighting back her tears but one slipped out.
"I'm gonna miss you too missy" Nick said wrapping his arm around Mel.
"me too"Aj said wrapping his arm around Mel also.
"and you to" Aj said wrapping his other arm around Leah and pulling her closer to him. Leah laid her head on his shoulder and let her tears flow freely.
"remember we first met?" Nick asked
"you guys hated us so much" Aj said with a laugh
"thats because the first time we met you, you splashed water on me" Leah said
"yeah and you through my barbie in the street"Mel said to Nick.
*flashback*
"why don't you girils go out and play"
"mom i don't want to i want to go back home" Mel whinned
"this is your home now" their mother said.
"now go on" leah took Mel's hand and they walked out the house. They walked to the sidewalk and Mel sat down and started to play with her barbie. Leah started to jump rope.
"are you new here"
Leah and Mel turned around at the voice. Two boys later to be know as Aj and Nick was standing there. One had blonde hair and blue eyes and the other had brown hair and brown eyes.
"yes" Leah said. She picked back up her rope and started jumping.
"you play with barbie eww" Nick said
"shut up" Mel said and went back to playing with her barbie.
"don't tell me to shut up"
"I bet you can't do that really fast" Aj said to Leah. He took the water bottle from his bike and took a sip.
"I bet you can't ride with no hands?" Leah stopped jumping and let the rope fall. Aj got on his bike and tried to ride with no hands but fell.
"told you" Leah said laughing. Aj grabbed his water bottle and walked up to Leah
"take it back"
"no" He poped the top and pured water all over Leah. Nick looked at Leah and laughed
"don't laugh at my sister you bug" Mel said
"i can laugh if i want to"
"no you can't" Mel said she stood up and put her hands on her hips. Nick picked her barbie up off the ground and through across the street and Mel started to cry. Leah walked over to Nick and pushed him down. Then aj pushed her down.
"MOMMY!!" Leah yelled.
"all girls do is cry" Aj said Nick nodded in agreement. They got on their bikes and rode off.
Nancy walked out the house and over to Leah who was on the ground holding her knee.
"those boys pushed her down and he through my barbie in the street" Mel pointed to the street where her barbie lay. Nancy wiped Mel's tears and helped Leah up.
"lets go now"
"but mom do i have to" Nick whinned
"yes you do" Jane said
"and you to" Denise said to Aj. They walked up to Nancy, Mel, and Leah.
"Now" Denise said to Aj
"but"
"Now" she said louder
"sorry" Aj said to Leah
"sorry for what?" Denise asked him
"for spraying water on you and pushing you down"
Leah just glared at Aj and held on to Nancy's waist.
"go ahead" Jane said to Nick. Nick looked up at his mother and sighed
"sorry for throwing your barbie in the street" He said.
"now go get it" Jane said. Nick looked up and down the street before running to get teh doll. He brought it back and gave it to Mel.
"thank you"
"but mom she pushed me down why come she doesn't have to say sorry" Nick pointed to Leah.
"Leah is that true" Nancy asked. Leah nodded.
"apologise"
"sorry" Leah said to Nick.
*End of flashback*
Nancy,Jane, and Denise walked out side and smiled at the four of them all hugged up under the tree.
"did you ever think they woudl become bestfriends?" Nancy asked Denise and Jane
"nope, not in a million years" Jane said
"guys its time" Denise spoke up. Nick, Mel, Aj, and Leah looked up at her. They looked back at eachother and stood up. They walked to their moms. They all walked in the hosue and to the front door. Nick opened the door and walked out with Aj behind him. Leah and Mel stepped out side. Nick wlaked to Mel and gave her a big hug. He moved to Leah and gave her a hug too.
"i'm gonna miss you guys" he said
"me too" Aj said. He gave Leah a Hug and moved to Mel hugging her. Nancy, Denise, and Jane walked out the house and stood behind Leah and Mel. Aj and Nick gave Nancy a hug and Mel and Leah gave Denise and Jane a hug.
"you guys don't forget to call us now" Nancy said
"we wont" Nick and Aj said. They walked to the bus with their moms and got on. Leah and Mel waved and the bus pulled off.
Nick and Mel turned around and Nancy gave them a hug.
"you'll see them again" She said rubbing their backs. They walked in the house and closed the door.
