Cheryl's Poetic Pages

I have made these pages for my mother, Cheryl Holliday. Cheryl is 39 years old and lives in an old house in the country outside of Green Castle, Missouri. Her and her newly-wed husband of almost 2 years, Jimmie Holliday, are restoring the house as they live there.
Cheryl is the winner of the 1999 Poet Of The Year Award. The award was won with her poem "God is Love." "God's Last Wake Up Call" would have undoubtly won, had not it contained one line too many. She attended a conference celebration in Reno Nevada in October of 1999.
Cheryl is divorced and has a fourteen year old son, Duane Van Hartesvelt, as a result of the ten year marriage. She also, of course, has me--Brandie Van Hartesvelt, 17 years old. I live in Kirksville Missouri. I decided to build this house of pages so that my mother's poems could become more wide spread for other's enlightment.
On the links provided are prophetic, spiritial, and other poems written by my mother. I hope that you enjoy the poems you are about to read. Plese keep in mind that although the poems were actually written by my mother, the prophetic and spiritual poems were in fact inspired by God.
