From deep in the woods you hear the unmistakable howl of a wolf. The howl peaks and recedes, but you're certain that the wolf is still near by, still hidden in the dark forest, still out there. The rational part of you scolds you and tells you not to worry, but the animal instinct that has remained dorment for generations and generations re-awkens and screams in terror: RUN.
You stick to the path, not running, but not strolling either. You ignore the fact that the trees are geting denser and less and less light is floating through the leaves making the woods seem even more scary and dangerous.
A brillant colored wolf flickers between trees, allowing you glimpses of its body. It appears to be following you, but shows no malice, only curiousity. It turns towards you and gives you a large wolfy grin, complete with pink tongue and bright white teeth. The smile looks friendly but the teeth do not so you don't pause for a closer look, just hurry along your path until you leave the woods and the wolf behind.
