My Style

I came up with this scale when I was trying to figure out how make a hardcore song that was musicly good, was flexible, and sounded different. It was actualy quite simple. All I did was add one extra note to the blues scale. This little note made an important difference. The trick is in the intervals.

Here is the scale:

|-0-1-3-4-6-7-8-10-12-|
With the intervals you want to make, I would start off with the red notes. Then move up to the 12th and 13th frets. Do a cromatic thing, but then transition into the rest of the scale. I wouldn't advise on actually using the 3rd fret, but there are some good things you can write with it. You could also start off with the 13th and 12th frets and transition form there into whatever you want.

I wrote a song with this *I think* it goes like this:

All power chords:
D|-0-12-13-0-12-13-0-12-13-0-13-12-13-12-0-12-13-10-12-|
  |-0-13-12-10-13-0-12-13-12-10--0-6-6-0-0-0-6-6-0-0-0--|
  |-12-13-13-12-0---0-0--0-0--4-1-0-0--0-0--3-4-0-0-3-4-|
Yeah I also added an extra note I forgot to tell you about. The actual recorded song is better. You can download it at my band website. I dont remember what its called 'cause im stupid.
