ok i cant give you the address of the place where this happened because its my cousins house, but we live in Seattle, WA. one night my cousin had come over with his wife and baby. they somehow brought up the subject of "ghosts" and my parents were talking with them about it. well the my cousin said that the night prior to this, while they were asleep, they heard a noise and my cousin had gotten up to turn the tv on to use as a light. (note: this happened at 3 in the morning they said) my cousin noticed that two of the baby's bottles were on the floor along with a jar of VIC's. those items had fallen off a shelf but what they did not understand was that the bottles had fallen a good distance from the shelf as if they had been thrown or knocked off the shelf. then they turned the light on and they saw the jar under the baby's crib which was on the opposite side of the room from where the shelf was. after they told us that we got a knock on the door and it was a guy that lives with my cousin, and you could tell he was scared out of his mind. he didnt want to say what happened at first but then he gave up and told us that while he was home in his room, he heard some dishes in the kitchen fall. he went to the kitchen to see who was home but no one was there. he went to the bathroom and while he was in there he could hear the kitchen cabinets shaking and he ran out to look and he saw them moving so he quickly grabbed his keys and ran out. they all decided to go home (note: this is at 3-4 in the morning now) and they went home. 15 minutes later we heard the doorbell ring and it was them. they said that when they got home they saw a ball of hair that was real black and thick in the dead center of their welcome mat. they couldnt figure out what was going on and most of all why the hair was in the center of the mat. they still to this day have no idea what it was or who it was... all they knew was how scary it felt. [ a little side note: my family comes from mexico and they have all these kind of "encounters" and "sightings" happen all the time. i mean i know about 40 other different stories just like this and all the ppl that they happen to dont know what it is].
