It has been decided that our first image is a fake, easily doctored.
Some of the thoughts:
Jason C. says:
Verdict: 95% sure it is fake While the painting is pretty creepy to look at, it seems like the two photos of the boy supposedly leaving the painting are actually a trick of light. The one picture has the light shining directly on the boy and the rest of the photo looks dark, making it appear he is leaving the painting, but the boy's image is actually only brighter than rest of the painting and this gives the illusion he is actually moving.
BlackMoonRising says:
The story seemed real at first, until I got to the pictures. The last tow, supposedly showing the child coming out of the painting were taken in two different locations, as if someone has moved the painting to get a angle for the picture of the boy exiting. If this were truley taken at night by a motion sensing camera, then the painting would be in the same place or out of the camera's field of view.
Kangaroo says:
I'd love to believe this is true, but it's really a vague description of what's happening. If I were this person, I would've checked with websites or experts about what this could be and what's happening. After all, it IS Ebay...People sell babies and souls for money, why wouldn't someone try a scam like this? Heh, I know I would.
BlackPanther13 says:
I believe the painting is very good but the story is just one big lie for the person writing says the paintings comes alive. We all know that painting is just paper and paint and paint can't come alive. And in the end of the it he says he doesn't think is ghost or anything is strange about the painting and its like the story is made up to sell the picture better then if it was just some distorted painting.
Jobee464 says:
As an amateur photographer, I believe this art work to be purely entertaining. It allows the eye to play tricks on the mind. The last two pictures were taken on close up angles to make the boy appear to be stepping out of the picture. However, it is a great way to get the sellers to have his art work viewed and possibly gain more bids by many more people who otherwise would not be interested in such art work.
So there you have it, folks! The verdict is in! Stay tuned for the next image, coming soon!
