Why Won't This Window Close?

Along the battle field is located a small white house. The attic window always seems to remain open. As Diane told me, this window has actually been closed several times, only to have it casually re-open itself. Supposedly, this house was used during war times to perform amputations, and that window remained open so that the severed limbs could be tossed out onto the ground below, where they were gathered for burial.
