1. Mystery: I’d like to see a female heroine of color-Latina?-who would focus on subjects of interest to women. She investigates things like missing children or domestic violence....family-related concerns, and she might be more of a 'problem-solver' than an enforcer. Her own background stories would be brought into each book. |

2. A book about two generations, father and son. The father is a hero in WWII, and the son is a deserter who heads to Canada when he is drafted for the Vietnam War. |

3. Children: A book about a mythical beast who isn’t anything. Sort of like "Are You My Mother?" The creature goes around and meets different animals, and is always able to help them because of a unique ability they don’t have. The message is that people different from you are valuable. |
