ALAN MAYBURY-Current Domestic Club,Heart of Midlothian Football Club(Hearts)
The Leeds Youth, and Republic of Ireland International had the real taste of European Football by playing for Leeds in the Chapions League 00-01' qualifying rounds. He is a cracking little defender, but time will tell whether or not he will feature in the Republic of Ireland setup again. Only capped twice at senior level, his eventual departure from Leeds was not a shock to his system.
Alan was actually spending more time on Leeds local radio on Saturday than on the field. However things have changed now, and he is a regular part of the Hearts first team. Again at senior level, its not at all too late. Still only a young lad as far as football years go, there may be a chance for Alan to represent his country again at some stage. He just has to wait for Gary Kelly and a few others to move over.
