Damien Duff made his international debut against the Czech Republic in 1998. Damien Duff is a one-off - a wizard with the ability to cast spells over defenders. He has incredible pace, a deadly eye for goal and can whip a cross in under the most severe pressure from defenders.

He loves attacking defenders down the left, can do a job off the front two as an attacking midfielder and has also been used at Blackburn as an out and out striker.

His diplays for the Republic of Ireland in the World Cup Finals 2002, were exceptional. The Saudis fouled him no more that 7 times in the second half, Duffer winning a free kick for every infringment on their behalf. He then went on to score the third goal in the 3-0 demolising of the Saudis.
