Kenny Cunningham was Wimbledons most capped international player with over 35 caps for the Republic. He has played most of his career as a right-back before being moving to the more central role.

He moved to newly promoted Birmingham City during pre-season 02-03', in a deal thought to be in the region of GBP£3.5mil in total

He won his first cap against the Czech Republic in 1996, while one year later, he captained the side for the first time.
