Mark Kennedy Fact File

MARK KENNEDY-Current Domestic Club Wolverhampton Wanderers

Mark Kennedy, unlike Phil Babb, was forgiven for his involvement in the antics prior to the Holland game in Dublin. And injury was the only factor to stop his involvement in the World Cup Finals 2002, with a torn groin muscle. For the remainder of the 01-02' season Mark had to sit out due to injury. But he was still given the chance to impress with an impressive display against Sunderland in the Niall Quinn benefit game. But the injury did not heal, he was'nt fit and Stephen Reid took his place.

A left sided nidfielder, Kennedy is quick and has a smashin left foot. From schoolboy club Belvedere, to Millwall on a YTS scheme. From there he moved to Liverpool where he enjoyed three years before returning to London and Wimbledon. Just over a year at the Dons, he then he moved north to Manchester City.

Mark made the switch to Wolves in the close season of 2001, costing the Molineux club £2m.
