Manchester United landed one foot in the Champions League semi-finals with a stunning win but saw injuries to Roy Keane and David Beckham taint their triumph. It was an away win {0-2} United can take back to Old Trafford while the home leg is to be played this time next week.

Two superb first-half strikes from Beckham(34.7YARDS)and Ruud van Nistelrooy and a VERY powerful defensive performance.

Beckham was carried away on a stretcher in agony following a cynical late foul from Diego Tristan(91 min's).Alex Ferguson advised after the game that Keane had a hamstring injury, and it was not his Knee, as we may have expected.

Keane will definetly miss Irelands friendly against the USA at home, Wednesday 17 April.Keane is expected to be out for a minimum of three weeks.Alex Ferguson will not have Roy Keane or Paul Scholes (who was booked and is suspended for the second leg) in the next game
