Former Irish international defender Chris Hughton has been confirmed as the new Irish assistant-manager of the Senior Irish National Team.
Capped 53 times, Hughton will take up the roll on a part time basis. He holds a UEFA 'A' Coaching badge and will without doubt he will be a useful addition to Brian Kerr's back room team.
The 44-year-old London Native will still remain assistant to Graham Hoddle at White hart Lane.
