George just needs to impress
Shakers Boss, Andy Preece has put the challenge to Liam George . Preece’s comment about the arrival of Liam George was positive enough for the Shakers Boss to say “If Liam does well he’ll be offered a longer deal. He is a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international and lots of clubs were interested in him only a season or two ago. Preece then went on to say “Theres was talk of him going from Luton for big money and I’m delighted to have him here”.
It seems that Bury F.C., who have just come out of administration, were greatly helped by the visit of their neighbours, Manchester City, in a pre-season friendly at the end of July. With the large crowd attendance for the game, it has in turn allowed the Shakers to introduce new signings such as Liam George to Gigg Lane.
