Connolly facing month lay-off / Cummins booked in for Operation

Republic of Ireland & Wimbledon striker David Connolly could miss at least a month of Football though injury after straining a hamstring in Saturdays {04/01} FA Cup Third Round victory {3-0} over Rotherham.

Connolly is currently the second highest scored in Div I so far this season with 14 goals in 13 games, bearing in mind that he missed the first 12 weeks of the Div I season through a knee injury. At least one Premiership club, rumoured to be West Brom, was thought to be preparing a bid to take him to the Hawthorns.
