Hunt & Dempsey 'Par' up

Noel Hunt adapted to life in the SPL again today with his second substitute appearance for his new side Dunfermline since arriving at East End Park last Monday from Shamrock Rovers.

Hunt came up against former Irish international, Alan Maybury, who featured for the home side Heart of Midlothian.

In front of 11261 fans, both Republic of Ireland U21 international’s Gary Dempsey & Noel Hunt linked up again, since Dempsey left Waterford for East End Park last summer.

Hearts could have doubled their advantage after the break (1-0 ht}, and Dunfermline boss ‘Jimmy Calderwood’ reacted immediately introducing Sean Kilgannon & Noel Hunt for the anonymous Scott Walker and Steve Hampshire. The effect was immediate, as Hearts keeper ‘Moilanen’ was twice rescued by his defenders as the ball was pinged deep into Hearts six- yard box. It was the home side that took the points {3-0}.
