Irish winger Mark Kennedy scored his first goal of the season against his old club Millwall on Saturday. Kennedy provided his side with the perfect start by firing home after only five minutes at the New Den. The Dubliner finished beautifully but the goal was greeted by a silence as no away fans were allowed into the stadium for the game.

David Connolly netted his 14th goal in 12 games (Second highest scorer in Div I) at home to Stoke but his 82nd minute goal was also cancelled out as Stoke’s Chris Iwelumo equalised in the dying minutes.

Meanwhile in Division II former Irish striker Mickey Evans scored Plymouth’s first goal in their 2-1 victory over Port Vale.

In Division III Darlington’s top scorer Barry Conlon was sent off against Macclesfield Town. The Irish player was dismissed for violent conduct in the 0-0 draw. And finally in Division Three Roddy Collins Carlisle earned a 1-1 draw away to Rushden & Diamonds.
