Carr making grounds?

Glenn Hoddle has today informed the media that Steve Carr should be back in four to five weeks. Originally the Irish defender was not due to return to domestic action for at lest two more months, before a scan showed that he had not completely torn the muscle. Following the reoccurrence of his hamstring injury after limping out of Tottenham’s Premiership clash with Everton last week. But Hoddle is confident that the Dubliner may now finally be over his injuries, which robbed the great player, his World Cup chance with the Republic of Ireland. This good news would give Carr every chance of making it in to the squad to face Switzerland in October in Dublin.
