Kennedy dearly missed

Wolverhampton wanderers have a huge mountain to climb for their return leg of the division I playoffs at Molineux. For this Wednesday the Foxes will play Norwich again at home, in a bid to not only seal a place in the Millenium stadium with Birmingham or Millwall. But to put todays 3-1 defeat behind them.

And to make matters worse no "Mark Kennedy" , however the Republic of Ireland international will almost return for the home leg this Wednesday. Kennedy has missed the last two friendlies at Lansdowne, with a tear in a groin muscle. But the good news is that up to last week he had began training fully again, and the only thing left to do was play a game.

"Paul Butler" did feature today for the Wolves at Norwich, and the Republic of Ireland international looked as strong as ever. However that did not stop the Foxes from giving away three "STUPID" goals. Final Score Norwich 3-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In the other division I playoff, Birmingham city held Millwall to a 1-1 draw. Millwall, and the Republic of Irelands "Stephen Reid" not only provided the pin-point cross for Dion Dublin's goal, but was the Nationwide Man of the Match.

As for the blues, former Republic of Ireland international "Jeff Kenna" captained a well diciplined side who defended very tightly. Birmingham must now go to the "Lions DEN" and try to take something, as the winner of this game will join either Norwich or Wolves in the final at Cardiff.

The second leg of this playoff is this Thursday. "Richard Sadlier" did not take any part in the game for Millwall. The Republic of Ireland international is due for hip surgery very shortly.
