Zayed Brunton Park bound?

Seagulls Irish U20 striker Eamon Zayed will join up with Roddy Collin's Carlisle United next week in a move to maintain his match fitness.

The Irish striker, fresh from his international duty with the Irish U20s in the UAE last week, in which he scored two goals is hoping to force his way into the Republic of Ireland squad for the World Youth Championships in the UAE in March 03'.

Zayed singled out his manager at Bray Wanderers, Pat Devlin, for helping him with the short term move across the water:

"Devo's been great to me. He watched me when I was at St Jpsephs, and then when I went to Leicester he was always in touch offering advice before he signed me for Bray. He's been a great influence on me."

Eamonn will join up with fellow Irish men, Richie Foran, Peter Murphy, Willie McDonagh, Brian Shelly, Brendan McGill & Dessie Byrne at Brunton Park, providing that the move goes ahead.
